About the event
February 2-3 is HIAS’ sixth annual Refugee Shabbat, and we’re making it happen here!
5:11pm - candle lighting will be available at the shul
5:10pm - Mincha/Kabbalat Shabbat Services
Dinner to follow services approximately 6:15pm
We have an incredible opportunity to learn about what refugee assistance looks like from our very own member Adam Sadinsky, a refugee lawyer with a local immigration and refugee firm.
Following songful Kabbalat Shabbat services, we will head downstairs for a delicious catered dinner, followed by a discussion and Q&A with one of Adam’s clients, who will share of their experiences as a refugee to Canada.
